业余无线电爱好者守则

美国业余无线电爱好者保罗.赛加尔W9EEA于1928年倡议了业余无线电爱好者在活动中应该遵循的守则，后来渐渐变成世界各国所有业余无线电爱好者都承认并遵循的座右铭。守则内容如下：

第一： 业余无线电爱好者是体谅的...

    绝不故意在联络中妨碍他人的乐趣。

第二： 业余无线电爱好者是忠诚的...

    对同好、俱乐部以及在国内外代表全国业余无线电爱好者的国家协会表现忠诚、鼓励与支持。

第三： 业余无线电爱好者是进步的...

    具备先进科学的知识，装备认真有效的电台,以及无可挑剔的操作。

第四： 业余无线电爱好者是友善的...

    应要求缓慢耐心的发送，对新手的友好指导和建议，善意的帮助合作，以及考虑别人的利益，这些是业余精神的证明。

第五： 业余无线电爱好者是平衡的...

    业余无线电是一种嗜好,绝不因之妨害对家庭、工作、学校和社会所应尽的义务。

第六： 业余无线电爱好者是爱国的...

    电台和技术时刻准备服务于国家和社会。

The Amateur's Code

ONE

"The radio amateur is considerate...never knowingly operates in such a way as to lessen the pleasure of others."

TWO

"The radio amateur is loyal...offers loyalty, encouragement and support to other amateurs, local clubs, and the American Radio Relay League, through which Amateur Radio in the United States is represennted nationally and internationally."

THREE

"The radio amateur is progressive...with knowledge abreast of science, a well-built and efficient station and operation above reproach."

FOUR

"The radio amateur is friendly...slow and patient operating when requested; friendly advice and counsel to the beginner; kindly assistance, cooperation and consideration for interests of others. These are the hallmarks of the amateur spirit."

FIVE

"The radio amateur is balanced...radio is an avocation, never interfering with duties owed to family, job, school, or community."

SIX

"The radio amateur is patriotic...station and skill always ready for service to country and community."
